Her home care clinical experience ranges from pediatric/adult ventilator cases\, infusion therapy\, and in-home peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) line placements. Her favorite aspect has always been teaching elderly patients information that helps them reach their potential and remain at home."I knew I wanted to be a nurse since I was five years old. The only thing I asked for that Christmas was a nurse's bag\, and once I found it on Christmas day\, I told my parents to just have Santa take everything else back. My first introduction to home care was a pediatric ventilator case. The hospital asked if I could get her home\, settled\, and teach the family what they needed to know. Well\, as you might suspect\, I was there for two years. My love of nursing has allowed me the opportunity to enter a stranger's home and leave as a friend.
