2023 Home Care Day at the Capitol (Tallahassee)
Tuesday, March 21, 2023 6:00 PM - Wednesday, March 22, 2023 4:00 PM (EDT)
Description
We invite Florida advocates for home care to attend HCAF's Home Care Day at the Florida Capitol on March 21-22, 2023. In conjunction with the 60-day Florida Legislative Session, this free annual advocacy event allows home care professionals to engage with state legislators to advance industry policy priorities.
Your participation helps send the message to lawmakers that we are united in strengthening the home care sector by ensuring fair Medicaid reimbursement, eliminating burdensome and unnecessary regulations and red tape, as well as protecting access to high-quality, affordable care in the patient-preferred setting: at home.
HCAF will host a welcome reception and policy briefing on Tuesday, March 21 to prepare you and answer any questions you may have. HCAF staff will pre-schedule all legislative meetings and provide you with a schedule at the welcome reception and policy briefing. Advocates will be assigned to a group with an experienced leader for legislative meetings on Wednesday, March 22.

Sponsors Welcome
Gain exposure for your organization and demonstrate your commitment to the Florida home care provider community by sponsoring this year's state advocacy day event.
Sponsor support assists in reducing the costs of the event, such as the development and printing of materials, meals, facility rental fees, etc. By sponsoring this event, your organization's logo will be displayed on all event promotions, on the event registration webpage, and on all event materials. HCAF staff will recognize sponsors at the welcome reception and policy briefing on Tuesday, March 21, during which a representative from your organization may speak.
