Recent discussions on the HCAFeForum LISTSERV focused on Medicaid managed care health plan contract challenges and limitations. During this live webinar, we will explore the topic in greater depth and discuss whether or not a "Single Case Agreement" (SCA) may be the right option for your patients/clients, staff, and organization. As providers face increasing pressure due to staffing shortages, rising gas prices, and inflation, we will discuss what to consider before caring for our most vulnerable populations.
Participants will hear guidance from a managed care professional with experience navigating health plans on behalf of home care agencies, as well as from an operator of a home care agency who will shed light on real-world issues from the perspective of the provider.
Meet the Speakers
Regina Wild, LPN, is the Director of Community and Home-Based Services for Managed Care Consultants of Florida, Inc. She has been in post-acute care for over 10 years. Regina has an extensive background in business development, admissions, and managed care. She has worked in skilled nursing, assisted living facilities, and home health, including a regional role in business development for a large skilled nursing organization in Florida. She is a graduate of Galen College of Nursing. Regina’s true passion lies in the collaboration and education of our partners in senior care.
Cindy Lavoie has served as the Owner/Administrator/CEO of Interim Healthcare of NorthWest Florida, Inc., since 1989. Her agency operates five office locations in Florida Health Care Regions 1 and 2. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida. Cindy is HCAF's President and serves on the Network of Entrepreneurs & Business Advocates (NEBA) Board of Directors. She is passionate about providing quality care to her patients/clients and helping small businesses grow and succeed.
