Series Topics

Part 1: How Workforce Optimization Strategies Will Help Solve Staffing Shortages (presented by Manpreet Singh Dhalla, Reverence)

Workforce shortages are nothing new for home care providers, yet the current staffing crisis has reached a critical point – both from a patient safety and provider sustainability perspective. Skyrocketing demand from a rapidly growing senior population – set to reach 77 million seniors in the next decade – that overwhelmingly prefers to age in place will only continue to exacerbate the challenges home care agencies are facing and illuminate the urgent need for new staffing models and solutions.

Setting up sustainable scheduling operations is also a necessary tool to enable growth. While having adequate staff is vital, having a well-optimized scheduling team is essential. Often, when an agency is down a scheduler, client care and operations break down.

In this webinar, Manpreet Singh Dhalla will share sustainable staffing strategies, tools, and actionable steps that home care providers can immediately put into effect to navigate staffing shortages. He can help participants identify gaps in their current staffing models and ensure they have an effective balance of practitioners, as well as better understand how they can address shortages in real time and prepare a long-term strategy to meet current and future demand.

While most home care providers recognize the need for tech-enabled solutions, many are unsure where to begin. Manpreet can break down how advanced technologies, like artificial intelligence, can empower home care providers to overcome staffing and workforce pain points by helping to:

  • Increase the percentage of shifts filled with the right practitioners;
  • Improve caregiver and scheduler retention;
  • Optimize scheduling operations.

Staffing shortages will continue to pose challenges for home care providers for years – probably decades. There is an urgent need to create, implement, and automate sustainable staffing strategies that deploy practitioners effectively and efficiently. Manpreet will share steps of how home care providers can do more with less while still providing high-quality care to ensure both financial stability and patient success.

Part 2:  Utilizing Technology to Enhance Staff Training and Retention (presented by Dr. Monika Virk, HOP into Homecare!

Part 3: The Overlooked Secret to Profitability for Home Care (presented by Uche Chekwa & Dylan Norwick, Viventium)
