Since 2013, HCAF's annual Excellence in Home Care Awards have recognized home care professionals for their dedication to the provision of quality home care and for their exemplary service to those they serve. These individuals don’t just represent home care — they are the essence of home care.

There are many individuals who are in home care because they care and they have the best interests of those they serve at heart. If you know of a deserving individual at your organization who has consistently demonstrated excellence in their day-to day-performance and has made outstanding contributions to home care and those they serve, please take a moment to submit a nomination on their behalf.

This year, we are pleased to announce the addition of the Glenda Burke Outstanding Associate Member Award. This award serves to honor the memory of one of HCAF’s greatest heroes and a very dear friend. Glenda was one of HCAF's founders and our very first Associate member, as well as a long-time Board member and respected consultant and educator. For many decades, she was everyone’s “go-to person” for anything and everything pertaining to our industry. For her decades of leadership, service, and friendship, HCAF honors Glenda's memory by recognizing an outstanding industry vendor who emulates all that Glenda Burke did for our industry. It is awarded to someone who has made outstanding contributions at the state and/or national levels and has demonstrated unwavering support for Florida home care providers.

It only takes a few minutes to submit a nomination and it gives us the opportunity to celebrate all that is good about the home care industry and to honor those employees who work in this industry for all the right reasons. The individuals who are ultimately selected to receive an award will be recognized and celebrated at a special ceremony to take place on Wednesday, July 20 during HomeCareCon, HCAF's 33rd Annual Conference & Trade Show in Orlando.
