Advocating for Home Health: Join the Movement in Washington on April 16-17
Home health providers are currently facing significant challenges, including Medicare payment cuts, inadequate Medicaid reimbursement rates, and proposed compensation requirements from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). To address these pressing issues, home-based care providers urgently require robust policy support.
Join advocates from Florida and across the nation at a federal advocacy event on April 16-17, hosted by the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) in Washington, D.C. This event offers a crucial opportunity to meet with members of Congress and urge them to take action. Before congressional meetings, NAHC will host a reception followed by a panel discussion on Tuesday, April 16, providing insights into the current landscape and top issues before Congress. NAHC and its partner, Soapbox Consulting, will handle the scheduling of congressional meetings based on registration information.
Registration is free but required, and advocates are encouraged to register promptly to optimize meeting scheduling. Additionally, please arrange travel and accommodation promptly, as there is no designated hotel for this event. Please note that this will be an in-person event only, and virtual meetings will not be facilitated.
Below are the event details. Don't miss out — click here to register now to ensure your voice is heard in Congress!
