Call for Candidates: HCAF Board of Directors
HCAF is seeking volunteers to serve on its Board of Directors. The following region-specific and at-large seats are currently open:
- Region 2 (Bay, Calhoun, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Taylor, Wakulla, and Washington counties)
- Region 4 (Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, St. Johns, and Volusia counties)
- Region 6 (Hardee, Highlands, Hillsborough, Manatee, and Polk counties)
- Region 8 (Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Glades, Hendry, Lee, and Sarasota counties)
- Region 10 (Broward County)
- At-Large Medicaid Specialty Provider
- At-Large Associate Member
The two-year term begins in July 2026 and runs through June 2028. Only active HCAF members are eligible to serve.
Why Serve on the HCAF Board?
Board members play a critical role in shaping the future of home care in Florida by:
- Providing strategic input on industry priorities, education, and advocacy
- Representing home care providers in legislative and regulatory discussions
- Supporting member recruitment, retention, and engagement
- Participating in key events, including the HomeCareCon Annual Conference & Trade Show and advocacy initiatives
- Serving as a direct link between HCAF and members in their region or specialty area
How to Apply
To be considered for the May 2026 online ballot, submit the following materials by midnight on Thursday, April 30:
- Candidate Statement: Why you are the right choice for this leadership role
- Professional Resume/CV: Relevant experience and qualifications
- Headshot Photo: Recent photo or permission to use an existing image
