Last month, HCAF called for nominations from members interested in volunteering to serve on the 17-member Board of Directors. We are pleased to have highly qualified candidates seeking to serve and represent the Florida home care provider community. Listed below are the 11 positions on this year's ballot.

  • Treasurer
• Region 1 Director (Escambia, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and Walton counties)
• Region 3 Director (Alachua, Bradford, Citrus, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Hernando, Lafayette, Lake, Levy, Marion, Putnam, Sumter, Suwannee, and Union counties)
• Region 5 Director (Pasco and Pinellas counties)
• Region 7 Director (Brevard, Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties)
• Region 9 Director (Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, Palm Beach, and St. Lucie counties)
• Region 11 Director (Miami-Dade and Monroe counties)
• Private Duty Director (Statewide)

For Officers, Directors, and the Private Duty Director, the two-year term of service will begin on July 1, 2023, and end on June 30, 2025.

Voting Guidelines

• Officers are elected by the full membership.
• Region-specific seats will be elected by Provider Members in each respective region.
• The Private Duty seat will be elected by our Private Duty Members.
• Each Provider and Associate Member organization has one (1) vote within their membership category.
• Please cast your vote for one candidate in each position for which you are eligible to vote.
• Voters must be members of HCAF for their vote to be counted.
• If we receive more than one vote per member organization, the first one will be counted.
• Votes cast outside of your region or outside of your membership category will not be counted. We urge you to vote early, but NOT often.
• You may specify an eligible write-in candidate for all positions.
