Florida’s home health care provider community is celebrating national recognition this week as 28 providers from across the state were named to Newsweek’s inaugural America’s Best Home Health Agencies 2026 list. The new national ranking, developed in partnership with Statista, a global data intelligence firm, highlights agencies that consistently deliver exceptional patient care and quality outcomes.

Home health agencies provide skilled nursing, therapy, and social services to patients recovering from illness or injury, living with chronic conditions, or seeking to maintain their independence at home. With more than 11,000 agencies nationwide, this new ranking identifies the top 300 agencies in the 25 states with the largest home health footprints. The rankings are based on quality metrics, peer recommendations, patient experience, and accreditation status.

High-Performing Florida Providers

Florida was strongly represented in this year’s rankings, with 28 agencies earning national distinction. Among them are 17 active members of the Home Care Association of Florida (HCAF), including:
