Home Care Day at the Capitol Returns February 10–11, 2026
The Home Care Association of Florida (HCAF) invites Florida’s home care community to Home Care Day at the Capitol, taking place February 10–11, 2026, in Tallahassee. This free, annual advocacy event offers providers, caregivers, and industry leaders a powerful opportunity to engage directly with state lawmakers and shape the future of home-based care in Florida.
The event takes place during Florida’s 60-day Legislative Session — convening Tuesday, January 13 and scheduled to adjourn Friday, March 13, 2026 — making it the ideal time to ensure legislators hear the collective voice of the home care provider community.
Why Attend
Your presence matters. Every conversation, handshake, and story shared helps ensure that home care remains at the forefront of Florida’s health care policy agenda. Together, we will:
- Advocate for fair and sustainable Medicaid reimbursement to strengthen Florida’s home care workforce and infrastructure.
- Promote regulatory reform to reduce administrative burdens that hinder care delivery.
- Champion policies that protect access to safe, high-quality, and cost-effective care at home.
No prior advocacy experience is required. HCAF provides all participants with the training, tools, and support needed to engage confidently in discussions with legislators and their staff.
