As we reflect on HCAF's HomeCareCon 35th Annual Conference & Trade Show, held from July 16 to July 19, 2024, at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace, we are filled with immense gratitude and pride. This year’s event was a remarkable success, drawing over 650 dedicated home care professionals to Florida’s largest industry gathering.

A Thematic Celebration of Innovation & Collaboration

HomeCareCon 2024, themed "Dream, Believe, Achieve: Shaping the Future of Home Care," emphasized resilience, innovation, and collaboration within the industry. The conference featured a dynamic agenda with 54 continuing education and professional development programs led by 75 distinguished industry leaders. Recordings of many programs will be available for purchase by the end of the summer through our online training portal at HomeCareLearn.com.

The two-day trade show was a vibrant showcase with 91 exhibitors presenting the latest products and services, ensuring home care providers are equipped to stay compliant and at the cutting edge of care innovation.

Special Events Highlights

We kicked off the conference with the inaugural Home Care Political Action Committee Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser on July 16. This lively event fostered camaraderie and friendly competition while supporting essential industry advocacy. Thanks to our generous contributors, the PAC raised more than $14,000 throughout the conference! Congratulations to our tournament winners:

• Champion: Boss of the Toss (Elliott Lammer and Jill Schexnayder, KanTime)
• Runner-Up: Corn Zizzlers (Daryl Glein and Melissa Udekwu, Pruitt Health @ Home)

A highlight of the event was the 13th Annual Excellence in Home Care Awards, generously sponsored by Home Helpers. This ceremony honored individuals who exemplify outstanding dedication to home care. Congratulations to the winners:
