Secure Your Spot: National Home Care Advocacy Day on September 19-20 in Washington, D.C.
The National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) invites home care industry professionals to its highly anticipated Advocacy Day event, taking place September 19-20 in Washington, D.C. The event is free to attend.
Advocacy Day is an annual gathering of industry advocates from all corners of the country, coming together to advocate with lawmakers and support the care-in-the-home community. It's a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the future of home-based care.
During this two-day event, attendees have the opportunity to meet with members of Congress and their legislative staff, putting a face to the issues our growing and evolving industry faces. Your ideas and thoughts on critical issues are invaluable. Advocacy Day is the perfect platform to address concerns like stopping devastating payment cuts for Medicare home health providers and strengthening the home care workforce. Your insights can drive real change and improvements in the industry.
But Advocacy Day isn't just about advocating for change — it's about empowering you to amplify your voice on the issues that matter most to you. Your firsthand experiences and data can demonstrate the vital role that home care plays in benefiting your community.
Beyond impactful advocacy, Advocacy Day provides immense value in building strong relationships with elected officials. This personal connection allows you to foster understanding and appreciation for the essential work done in home-based care. Additionally, networking opportunities with like-minded colleagues abound, creating a supportive community committed to making a positive impact.
