HCAF invites you to join fellow home care advocates for our annual Home Care Day at the Capitol on March 18-19, 2025, in Tallahassee. This free advocacy event takes place during Florida’s annual 60-day legislative session, providing a unique opportunity to engage with lawmakers and champion critical policy priorities for the home care industry.

• Advocate for equitable Medicaid reimbursement to sustain Florida’s home care sector.
• Push for reductions in regulatory burdens that hinder care delivery.
• Defend access to high-quality, cost-effective in-home care for patients and families across the state.

No advocacy experience? Don’t worry! HCAF will provide guidance and resources to help you feel confident. You’ll join a group led by an experienced advocate, with all legislative meetings pre-scheduled by HCAF staff.

Spend the day meeting with state legislators and their staff to discuss the vital role of home care in Florida’s health care system. Advocate for policies that support providers, caregivers, and patients.
