2023 Proposed Rule Comment Deadline is August 16 — Submit Comments Today!
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is accepting comments on the 2023 home health proposed rule, which are due no later than 5:00 PM ET on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.
Federal agencies recognize an individual's or organization's desire to express support or opposition to a proposed action. A single, well-supported comment may be more persuasive than a thousand form letters, but we understand you are busy and might not have time to go through the 175-page proposal in its entirety.
HCAF has developed a template for Medicare providers to customize based on their experience. Federal agencies must review the form letter, such as the one we developed, in order to add any additional comments that illustrate the potential impact of the proposed rule in a real-world context. Please replace the red bracketed text with insight into how you believe the proposal will affect your agency before submitting your comments.
Click here to download and customize the template. The template focuses on the proposed payment reductions and changes to the Home Health Quality Reporting Program (QRP) and Expanded Home Health Value-Based Purchasing Model (HHVBP).
