AHCA Announces Reporting Deadline for Private Duty Nursing Providers
AHCA Announces Reporting Deadline for Private Duty Nursing Providers
The Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) has announced the second quarterly reporting deadline for nurses providing pediatric Private Duty Nursing (PDN). This mandatory reporting includes details for each nurse, such as the provider(s) they work with and the county or counties where they are available to work.
Reporting Requirements
- Home Health Agencies (Provider Type 65-965): Must provide information on each registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN) who is available to provide, or is currently providing, PDN to Florida Medicaid recipients under the age of 21.
- Independent RNs (PT 65-118) and LPNs (PT 65-117): Must report their availability and the counties where they offer services.
The data must be submitted by June 30, 2024, using the appropriate survey linked below:
This data collection initiative stems from a court-ordered injunction issued on July 14, 2023, following a federal lawsuit alleging violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
For any questions or further information, providers can contact AHCA via email at PDN_NurseSurvey@ahca.myflorida.com.
