AHCA to Hold Public Meeting in January Prior to Statewide Medicaid Managed Care Re-Procurement Process
On Thursday, January 5, 2023, the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) will hold a public meeting to discuss the Statewide Medicaid Managed Care (SMMC) Data Book released on November 22, 2022. The data book provides relevant background information that prospective health plans will find useful in the development of their response to the Invitation to Negotiate (ITN).
AHCA first implemented the SMMC program in 2013 and 2014, contracting for managed long-term care and managed medical assistance services. AHCA must re-procure managed care contracts every six years. AHCA anticipates posting the ITN no sooner than February 20, 2023.
The meeting will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM ET at AHCA headquarters (2727 Mahan Drive, Building 3, Conference Room A, Tallahassee, FL 32308-5407).
