Provider Survey: Medicaid Family Home Health Aide Program Participation
Provider Survey: Medicaid Family Home Health Aide Program Participation
HCAF is conducting a survey to gather insights from Medicaid Private Duty Nursing (PDN) providers regarding the upcoming Home Health Aide for Medically Fragile Children (Family Home Health Aide) program, which is set to be fully implemented later this year.
Survey Goals
- Determine how many agencies plan to participate in the Family Home Health Aide program.
- Understand if agencies have begun training prospective Family Home Health Aides now that the minimum training requirements are finalized.
- Anticipate the potential size and impact of the program within individual agencies.
The results of this survey will be compiled and shared with the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) to provide them with a general understanding of anticipated participation and program size, based on provider responses and patient census averages. Please be assured that no provider-identifying information will be shared — only aggregated data.
We kindly request that you complete this brief survey by Friday, September 13.
The survey was distributed yesterday to Medicaid providers in HCAF’s database. If you know any providers in your region who serve the PDN population, please help us collect as much data as possible by sharing the survey with them.
