Description

Experience OASIS training in an immersive and engaging atmosphere based on the most current CMS guidance available. This workshop provides the nation's best education for learning and refining your OASIS coding knowledge, with a focus on the OASIS-E1 items and evolving guidance, including a review of the guidance for the new COVID-19 Vaccination OASIS item.

This workshop is developed, continually updated, and presented by the OASIS Answers' Blueprint Team. The training is targeted to field clinicians, clinical supervisors, OASIS educators and reviewers/auditors, quality improvement staff, and those preparing for the COS-C exam.

Join the comprehensive and nationally acclaimed two-day Blueprint for OASIS Accuracy workshop and learn to confidently teach, audit, and collect OASIS-E1 items accurately. Our instructors use their many years of varied home healthcare experiences to guide the attendees through relatable patient scenarios that illustrate and reinforce pertinent OASIS coding concepts. Through large and small group problem-solving discussions, attendees will apply coding instructions to more than 50 application scenarios; solidify their mastery of concepts and provide excellent preparation for the open-book COS-C Exam. Make plans to attend with the dedicated OASIS Answers' team as we master the guidance for 2025 together.

Workshop Educational Objectives Include:

  • Selecting accurate OASIS responses based on patient-based scenarios
  • Increasing accuracy of OASIS data, resulting in valid quality measurement and payment
  • Increasing compliance with CMS expectations and coding guidance

Rather than providing opinions, assumptions, or unfounded interpretations, the Blueprint presenters model reliance on CMS guidance documents and provide strategies to boost confidence and performance in utilizing practical strategies to achieve OASIS accuracy.

Continuing Education

Attendees of both days will receive 13.0 continuing education units for skilled nursing, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology and audiology.
