HCAF Board of Directors: Leadership Opportunity for Home Care Professionals

Medicare Medicaid Private Duty Membership Association News

The Home Care Association of Florida (HCAF) is seeking dedicated leaders to volunteer to serve on our Board of Directors, with open seats in Regions 1, 3 and 9, where current Directors are ineligible for re-election, as well as each odd-numbered region and the statewide Private Duty Director position. Additionally, Officer positions (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer) are also up for election; however, candidates must have served at least two terms on the Board to be eligible.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Florida’s home care industry by influencing key initiatives, policies, and member engagement efforts.

The two-year term begins in July 2025 and runs through June 2027. Only active HCAF members are eligible to serve.

  • Championing home health agencies and the broader home care industry through legislative and regulatory engagement.
  • Supporting HCAF’s growth by assisting with member recruitment and retention.
  • Participating in key events, including the HomeCareCon Annual Conference & Trade Show and legislative advocacy initiatives.
  • Facilitating sessions and engaging attendees at HCAF programs and industry gatherings.
  • Serving as a direct link between HCAF and members in their region, ensuring their concerns and perspectives are represented.
