The Home Care Political Action Committee (PAC) is proud to launch the 2025-26 fundraising campaign, with an immediate goal to raise $15,000 before the session begins.

The PAC is essential to maintaining our voice at the policymaking table, ensuring that legislators make decisions that support Florida’s home care providers, workforce, and the patients/clients we serve. As the saying goes: “If you don’t have a seat at the table, you’re probably on the menu.”

Your support helps us advocate for these key priorities during session:

• Expanding Access to Care by Modernizing Contract Nurse Regulations: Allowing contract nurses to perform critical visits.
  
• Modernizing Administrative Flexibility in Home Health Care: Removing outdated restrictions on administrators.
• Improving the Family Home Health Aide Program: Prioritizing the effective implementation of this vital program to better serve medically fragile children and their families.
• Increasing Medicaid Reimbursement Rates: Supporting equitable rates to address workforce shortages.
• Empowering the Excellence in Home Health Award Program: Creating inclusive program standards adaptable to all agencies.

During the last election cycle, the PAC raised a record-breaking $68,000 with contributions from 428 supporters, demonstrating the home care community’s commitment to advocacy. Thanks to your support, we’ve achieved critical legislative wins, including expanded access to in-home care and increased Medicaid reimbursement rates.
