The fourth quarter of 2022 release of the Program for Evaluating Payment Patterns Electronic Report (PEPPER) is now available for download through the PEPPER Resources Portal.

PEPPER is an educational tool that summarizes provider-specific data statistics for Medicare services that may be at risk for improper payments. Providers can use the data to support internal auditing and monitoring activities. PEPPER is developed under contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) by RELI Group, along with its partners TMF® Health Quality Institute and CGS.

To obtain the PEPPER:

1. Review the Portal Access Instructions for accessing the HHA PEPPER on the Distribution Schedule.
2. Visit the PEPPER Resources Portal.
3. Complete all fields.
4. Download your PEPPER.
