The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is hosting a webinar to guide home health providers through their first Annual Performance Report (APR) for the expanded Home Health Value-Based Purchasing (HHVBP) Model. This report, set for release in late August 2024, will be available to home health agencies with Medicare certification dates before January 1, 2022, and sufficient data to generate a Total Performance Score (TPS).

The webinar, taking place on Tuesday, August 13, at 3:00 PM ET, will cover the following:

• An overview of the CY 2024 APR, including how to interpret the report and the quality measure results based on CY 2023 performance data and benchmarks.
• Information on improvement thresholds, TPS, and payment adjustments for fee-for-service (FFS) claims related to services rendered in the CY 2025 payment year.
• Details on the appeals process, including how to request a recalculation or reconsideration of your APR if you believe there is an error.
